I would like a sign. How much will it be?

Without having all the information as to where the sign is going, or what sort of sign is required, it’s our job to extract the information out. Once we have a rough idea, we will ask for the size of the sign. Naturally a small sign has a small price, and a larger sign would have a higher price. As each job is different, nearly every customer would have a different price due to the amount of factors that affect the project.
Please do not be put off by the uncertainty of the price. Just contact us and give us a brief outline of it’s use, size and text needed for a rough price. The more information we have the more accurate the price will be.

What is the largest size sign you can make?

As a printed self-adhesive sticker, we can print up to 1370mm x 50metres in one complete piece, which is quite a size! If you’re looking for a rigid sign panel, then the maximum size is 2500mm x 1250mm or 3000mm x 1524mm. If you have a requirement for something larger, then it would involve joining of these sized panels to create your desired size.

If your budget and taste suits, then a Flex Faced Sign may be the answer to your oversized sign requirements. This type of sign can accommodate bespoke sizes and shapes – so please get in touch for more info.

How do I pay for the signage or vehicle graphics?

Generally, new customers will be asked to pay a deposit before we commence production. This can be in the form of cash, cheque or BACS payment. Or otherwise payment is due on completion of the job.

Can you make it any cheaper?

Of course, we can make the product cheaper, assuming it’s done so in the correct situation. We’re extremely proud of the systems and materials we use everyday which allow us to move our business forward and take us into our 20th year in business. Once we’ve made a sign, we don’t expect to have to return to it to sort out a defect, and for this purpose, we only use premium materials for our signage and graphics – which is why we simply will not compromise on quality.
However, we can use appropriate shorter-life materials for your short-term sign project, which would provide a cost saving. But we don’t use these as standard and unless we are asked, we will naturally base the cost of working with our premium, long-life materials.

Can the graphics be removed from my vehicle?
Yes of course. Although they’re made to last, they can be removed simply by using a hair dryer on a moderate heat to warm up the vinyl and peel the graphics away carefully. It can leave some adhesive residue behind, but with a spot of elbow grease and a generic multi-surface cleaner (we advise to test a small inconspicuous area first) that can be removed too.

If you need the vehicle wrap removed, then this would have to be done using heat to soften the adhesive. We can quote for the removal of the graphics as well as having it cleaned and polished.

Will the graphics damage my vehicle paintwork?
No. When the vinyl graphics are applied to a vehicle, it provides a protective layer on top of the surface of the paint. Naturally, over time, the Sun’s UV rays will fade the paintwork, you wouldn’t notice the fading due to the entire panel fading at the same time. When the vinyl is removed from the vehicle, it reveals the shiny original paintwork. This can be remedied by using polish or T-Cut to bring the paintwork back to its former glory.
When it comes to vehicle wraps, where the whole vehicle is covered, then the original paintwork is protected. If the vehicle is wrapped from new; when the wrap is removed, the paintwork is in perfect condition and can command up to £700 more residual resale value than a van that hasn’t been wrapped and the paintwork has deteriorated through sun UV damage.
What are your opening times?
Our opening times are…
Monday – Friday 8.00am – 5.00pm

But we do pride ourselves on being flexible to help with your situation. If you require a Saturday appointment, or can’t get to us within our normal working hours, then we can accommodate.

Is there anything I should do prior to my vehicle coming in for work?
Yes. We understand vehicles can get quite dirty and they can be stubborn. For the sake of reducing the vehicles time off the road and making the installation process quicker, it is advised that vehicles are washed by customers prior and not waxed. An extra cost may be incurred if the vehicle is washed by us due to high levels of mud.
If I choose not to go ahead with the work, can I still have my designs?
If they are your designs, which haven’t been created by us or altered, then by all means. We do however create bespoke logos and images, customers who wish to use these logos somewhere else, may do so but we will charge a fee. Most basic design charges are included into the overall price.
How do I care for my vehicle signage?
All vinyl, whether individuals letters or a full vehicle wrap, can be washed but must be done by hand and a pressure washer must not be used. Pressure washers put too much pressure in a small location, causing vinyl to peel away rapidly and can damage the laminate.
